LOVING GOD PASSIONATELY
The greatest commandment that Christ left us in Luke 10:27 is, “Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence and that you love your neighbour as well as you do yourself” (Message Bible). At Sydney Christian Outreach Centre, loving God is our greatest value. We believe in every aspect, department, location and service, you will see people who love God passionately and vibrantly. We believe in being sold out and fully devoted to living for Jesus in everything that we do.

Our church exists so others may live!

In our DNA we were born to multiply both naturally and spiritually. Genesis 1:28 says, “and God blessed them and said be fruitful and multiply…” Every living thing that God has created contains the seed of multiplication. The Kingdom of God has multiplication at its core and we integrate this value into every aspect of church life.
Sharing our Faith Boldly is being courageous and obedient to the Holy Spirit. Acts 4:29 “…grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word…”
We understand that everyone’s approach to evangelism is different. At Sydney Christian Outreach Centre we intentionally equip and empower every member for a pathway of leading people to Christ through relational evangelism.

MULTIPLYING LEADERS INTENTIONALLY
Leadership is in the DNA of every aspect of our church. The underlying principle in leadership is multiplication. We create a culture where individuals, leaders, Urban Connections and departments are multiplied. The church functions best when every individual is winning, discipling or leading others! This creates multiplication.
Our dream is to see every member of the church equipped & empowered in leadership, fulfilling their purpose and destiny, seeing increase and multiplication of the Kingdom.
Being self-led is the foundation for Servant Leadership at Sydney Christian Outreach Centre. Our leadership model consists of Servant leaders, Core leaders and Demographic Leaders, which include our department heads and point pastors.
Pathways for leadership development include: Empowering Leaders (apprenticeship model), Internship (1 year intensive), Winter Bible College, location leadership nights and group mentoring sessions with Ps David and the senior leadership.

EMPOWERING GENERATIONS PURPOSEFULLY
We are a church that empowers all generations and values people of all ethnicity.  Every generation has a specific contribution to make, which adds life and growth to the church.
From Friday to Sunday night you will find church services that cater to all age demographics and are generationally relevant.
We fulfil this through numerous ministries: Urban Kidz ministry (ages 1 -12), Switch Youth ministry (high schoolers), Crave Young Adults ministry (school leavers – uni students) Young families, 4her ministry, Seniors and age specific Urban Connections.
At Sydney Christian Outreach Centre we are very intentional about seeing generational transfer, Ps 145:4 “Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories of your mighty acts.” (Message Bible)
Strong families are the foundation of a generational church. We celebrate family; which is the core of society. Strong families build strong churches; which build strong communities; which build strong cities; which build a strong nation.
We believe in creating wholeness in every generation and family through God’s love and His Word.
